Which is also a product of Arla Foods, the makers of Lurpak ;)

My dad always insisted on buying Lurpak butter when we were growing up. This was highly unusual as he's not renowned for spending any money on anything (typical Scotsman) :D

We'll have to give this Lurpak a go....

Can't recall ever having it as I don't eat bread on planes (for some strange reason)......although, have been known to ask for seconds when it comes to CX garlic bread:D

The CX J bread basket is an amazing thing

So of course I've just purchased some Lurpak to see what the fuss is about. It is just a few cents dearer than Paris Creek biodynamic butter. I'm so gullible. Lucky this isn't a tech or fashion forum. :p

So have I
Also found some Ballantyne's Danish style unsalted butter that claims to be Australian, though doesn't say where from. Tastes fine.
Also requested some of this wonderful Paris creek to try.

I thought it was 48?
I seriously tried counting them earlier and there are at least 64 different varieties of butter/margarine at Woolworths Macarthur in Brisbane. Start to go cross-eyed after a while.

And Lurpak had a really small box at eye level and from memory it was $5.

We all ask for seconds when it comes to their wonderful garlic bread.

Something about Asians and garlic bread - all of the Asian carriers have it.

Nice stuff but if your heart isn't in the best of shape, the next time you hit the ground you'll be in a coffin.

how many calories are there in those little packs of butter?

EH
How big are the little pcks?

Well I think that there is a Lurpak sales rep amongst us who has weaved their magic and will see all of us buying some of this butter to see what all the fuss is about. So who is it ? Fess up.

Couldn't agree more. I had never seen a Lurpak TV ad (or never noticed them) until this week. Looks like a "fresh" all media marketing campaign to me.

The marketing plan is working for now...
