Have just received DSC offers for my 3 kids - so reasonably easy to make PS for all of them (they're all on over 200 SCs). Does anyone know if they'll receive the lounge invite?

Would be great to have the passes so my wife can take the kids into the lounge next year (she's firmly stuck in NB land)...

My 12 month old received a lounge pass on attaining silver.

QFF don't seem to make too many distinctions based on the age of the member.

Excellent, kids will be doing a couple more flights than planned in the next 3 months....

A lounge pass is offered to all new Silver members, regardless of age. After all, they've earned it. :)

Can you send them on a UM mileage run? :p

It's not a bad idea, where it would go wrong is the turnaround city - no-one to hand them over to and then give them back again!

I mopped up some stray EK points with a couple of oneway award tickets from AKL to BNE on the A380 in 4 weeks time. Am wondering now if I should just buy the youngest a business class one way on the QF code, and I'll sit downstairs in economy on the original award.

That'd be a unusual turn of events, parent in economy, child in business class :).

Though perhaps you could talk with the CSM to drink the bubbles for them ;)
