Actually, I recalled someone walking out of the F lounge, so it was definitely opened.

Got refused to get into the First Lounge in SIN as well. Looks like Qantas doesn't care about other one world elites.

Recently - just a couple of weeks ago on the way back. May be they can get away with it, because it is no longer a first lounge per se?

Out of curiosity, how exactly does the billing work where a pax who is entitled to lounge access but goes in with a different (non-lounge entitled) FF No on the BP?

Either way, it's poor that one needs to make do with a clunky workaround (changing FF #s once inside the lounge) to guarantee lounge access. A solution to this would be to have an option for OW bookings to add multiple FF numbers then nominate one number for points earn. Or is this too hard?

They did announce restrictions during the re-furb as space was limited. this is probably why.

If it was the Emirates Lounge, then they could restrict it by being a third party lounge.

I see.

No, it is their old first lounge next to the SATS lounge.

Restrictions on access and redirecting to another lounge are on the OneWorld lounge finder as well as being mentioned here.
