I thought I would share this email I received today.

It is worthwhile putting in your positive feedback via the QF Customer Care email system -

Dear Anna

Thank you for your comments regarding your positive experience with our
Qantas Business Lounge staff member who took such good care of you
during your time at the terminal.

Your comments clearly demonstrate that she delivered the quality of
personal service, interest and care that we strive to provide our
customers. As a result of the positive impression you received from her,
she has been nominated for a Qantas eXcel Service Award.

eXcel, "The Spirit of Service, Safety, Environment and Business
Contribution" is the Qantas staff recognition program. Its purpose is to
provide a formal means of recognising staff who excel in their efforts to
consistently deliver an excellent service experience for our customers.

Your comments have enabled us to applaud her attentiveness and service
dedication.

Thank you again for taking the time and effort to contact us - your
comments are much appreciated.

Yours sincerely,

Qantas Airways Ltd.

I have some great feedback for some fantastic cabin crew members that I have been meaning to submit for a few weeks now from a J flight recently.
Wasn't sure where to submit it, was this just through the normal Qantas website contact page?

Interesting. I have over the years submitted various kudos via this program. The *only* time i've ever had a response (which was very similar to the OP's) was about lounge staff (in particular one lass in the QF J lounge SYD International many years ago, who had the eXcel Pin on her lapel meaning she'd already been previously recognised).

Every time i've ever submitted one regarding outstanding flight crew, i've never had anything back (despite providing names, flights and dates). Go figure!

That's weird. I usually, not always, get an email back thanking me for the feedback and saying it will be drawn to the attention of the relevant manager. Sometimes even a phone call just to thank me. This time I hadn't heard anything for ages - I submitted this particular piece of feedback last November.

Submitting feedback to Jetstar was funny though - my one and only booking with them was during the volcano crisis and I sent them feedback to say how well Julie at SYD had handled the cancellation of my onward sector, and I got a letter back with a $25 voucher telling me that "Mee-Ling and her manager" were thrilled with my feedback.

Thanks for posting, after a lazy search I was unable to establish if they had such a program. I emailed QF this week to highlight the outstanding service I received from 2 CSM's. I requested they be considered for any staff reward and recognition in light of my experience. The option to hear back was available but I always opt out. Good service = good experience = return consumer. I know quality service is subjective however feedback to staff from the consumer would always be appreciated.

The program has been going for a while - I can remember having a FA receive a nomination after feedback I submitted

I gave feedback regarding Domenico my good mate in the Syd J lounge. (bald guy with foreign accent) Always greets me with a smile and knows what I drink. He loves doing the rounds with the pretzels and ice cream in the afternoon. He proudly wears his excel pin.

Domenico is a legend. He'll happily bring you the island dining dish to your seat if you aren't up there. Always happy, must remember to put in a note for him.

I've always received feedback when nominating staff. Either by post, or a phone call. I think I had an email once too.

Agreed. Just received the same email for comments I submitted a few weeks ago for a very helpful agent working the plat phone lines.

I hope she wins!
