Well back in my room getting ready for bed (upgraded to two bedroom suite in the residences).

Thank you to MunitalP and wife for your magnificent efforts. From arrival the hotel knew who we were and have treated us so well. The guest speaker, the prizes (I won one!), the food and especially the company were all excellent.

The incredible amount of work you have done to make this event special was obvious by how flawlessly it ran and how well it worked on the night.

You have set the bar very, very high for future events.

Again thank you and I am in awe of your organising abilities.

In summary...

I had a wonderful evening with a group of wonderful people, I got to meet some new friends, reacquaint with some old friends and had a great time. Our special velocity guest went out of his way to talk to everyone, the hotel staff did a great job in looking after everyone, the bar service was good and there were some spectacular gifts!

Kerwin McKenzie, our surprise guest who took someones spot who couldn't attend - lifetime unlimited travel - what a hoot!

Thanks for coming, I think nearly everyone enjoyed themselves - I guess the old saying you can't please everyone all of the time rings true in this case

Remember - the Xmas party in Sydney is only 6 months away, I better start planning now!
