Same (not that a plat membership in A|Club will get you much!):

Earn miles as you sleep

Flying Blue offers you the opportunity to have your A|Club points automatically transferred to your FFP account after each stay

I did this, then logged on 5 minutes later and it showed Platinum.

Transfer to Airline programs does not have to be automatic. There's a setting.

Yep - mine showed up straight away. Will be interesting to see if i get the card as i originally signed up with the free Gold status promo. If i remember correctly you had to do at least a 1 night stay to be eligible. I did, but as i booked through a third party (Hotel Club) i don't think that will count.

Mebbe it's been pulled already?

I didn't get plat - got entry level when went through the sign up process. Burning through my email addresses...

I tried the second link first and got the message that the promo code wasn't available. I used the original first link (the German version) and that worked just fine. So for those people having trouble give that a shot.
