Not saying the treatment was ok.....but if your luggage and you were checked in and the only thing left to do was to pass immigration and board your flight why not just board the flight? It's not as if this person was going to be on the plane. Why suddenly decide not to travel based on one rude little airport employee whom you would likely never see again? Why not just do what most people would do and storm off, rant about 'that $&@! then continue on with your journey.
A few things don't make sense
...the first being a decision to disrupt a family holiday merely because you didn't like the way someone spoke to you. I think there is a lot more to the situation than that.Why your bag was still at check-in 40mins prior to departure on an international sector. What's all the background noise about family gifts etc in your complaint? The contents of your bag, while highly important to you, are largely irrelevant to the situation unless....
some emotional attachment
to those contents caused a lot more fuss in the airport than you are letting on about.
