Just wondering if anyone knows how much alcohol you can take onto a domestic flight in your carry on baggage. Haven't been able to find a maximum on the web, is there one?
Alcoholic beverages, when in retail packagings, containing more than 24% but not more than 70% alcohol by volume, in receptacles not exceeding 5L, with a total net quantity per person of 5L.
That's size & weight and you can have 2 x 7kg on Qantas domestic Jet services. There isn't a limit, except the weight is within the guidelines.. Approx 7kg

It seems QF is stricter on this than their subsidiary, JQ! And also than TT! I can think of at least two people I know who have brought back full cases of wine with them from Tassie to Melbourne on JQ and TT flights - one was my sister on a JQ flight only a few weeks ago. Or it could possibly be a flight attendant's discretion?
