End of next month I will have 6 flights with the first one at ~1:00am and the last one due to arrive at ~11:40pm. It will be tricky as I will have checked luggage and golf clubs but I will try to get the luggage in the F Lounge at B to be routed A->B->E bypassing C and D.

There is no issue about misconnections as they are on CX and even though on separate bookings I have been told I am protected. By the way 4 of the flights were on 2 separate days 1 week later but my plans for the trip have changed and I am trying to maximise time on the ground.

I will also be hoping the flight the night before, QF31, is on time.

Any thoughts?

How many SC's you got to go for LTG now?
Around 5,000SCs, perhaps a little more to go, and with most international travel moving to business class awards I need to have some sort of status for my domestic commute as without status I may as well be travelling on VA or JQ.

Yeah, I remember now, we chatted about that the other week. Have a good break anyway

Yes you're crazy.

But you are in good company.

I can understand the routing, not sure the airline will be happy to use a separate routing for your luggage (even though you will be on the flights)., but good luck with it all.

Crazy as hell and definitely a man to be admired. :p

I mean people not of our world would not understand but we can only aspire to equal your achievement.

Best I've ever done was four in a day (all CX J) and was very thankful I could sleep on the last leg.

Should not be a problem.

Last trip which was the first legs of the next trip the luggage was tagged A-B-C-B-D and when I was in the lounge in B I was asked if it was OK for the luggage to be sent B-D rather than go B-C-B-D. I agreed.

I have over 2 hours in B in the morning and the plan is to ask if they can do the same thing again. If they can't then I can just as easily collect luggage in C and check-in again as I have 2 hours there and B-D-B is the same aircraft turning around so should be able to do this one as well.

I can imagine that I will be able to sleep part of the way as I want to be wide awake at ~11:40pm.

I have done 5 flights in a day in the past and that was difficult.

To a non AFFer, definately crazy. To AFFers - still a little crazy.

By no means is it crazy :)

Btw would you mind sharing the routing?

I once did 5 flights "in a day", but as I was chasing teh sun, it was a very long day. Was BNE-SYD-SIN-FRA-LGW-RDU all in Y. After 40 hours I certainly had seen enough of the insides of aircraft and airports and had enough of airline and lounge food. Good luck you your 6 in a day. You are braver than I . 5 was too many for me.

Yeah, My longest was:
MCO-DFW-OKC-LAX-SYD-AKL-BNE. (12607 miles - Longer than a trip to the UK from Australia! )

After that... I was absolutely flogged. The final flight was basically "WTF am I doing?" I was almost delusional (And ... all flights were in AA F and QF J, bar one AA flight (1hr) in Y. Couldn't imagine it in Y. Longest layover was about 5 hours, the rest about 1-2 hours.
I'm sure I'll repeat it again one day!

I've been looking at some FT threads that talk about taking up to 10 sectors in a day in Japan domestic to retain CX DM - all in domestic J on JAL mainly between Osaka (Kansai) and Tokyo (Narita), looks to be fairly cost effective but I'm sure you'd be well and truly fed up with flying after all that!

I've done 6 flights in a day ... but not with Golf Clubs in Tow!

Majorly long travel days for me have been:

DXB-(BA,J)-xLHR-(BA,J)-xLAX-(QF,Y)-xSYD-(QF,Y)-MEL

BOS-xDFW-xSFO-xLAX-xHNL-LAX-xORD-BOS - All AA, F

ANC-(AA,F)-xDFW-(AA,F)-xJFK-(CX,J)-xYVR-(CX,J)-HKG

MEL-(QF,Y)-xSIN-(CX,Y)-xCMB-(CX,J)-xBKK-(CX,J)-xHKG-(CX,J)-NRT

Nice, im doing tpe-hkg-mnl-hkg in Sept to take me to Gold for the first time.

Hopefully youre not in regional configs for all those sectors!

I did 4 flights in 24 hours with 3 different carriers.

BNE to Darwin with QF
Darwin to SIN with *star
SIN to MNL with Cebu
MNL to ILO with Cebu as well.

But was on a boys trip so alcohol was consumed on all legs apart from MNL to ILO as it was a 7am flight.

Luggage all arrived when needed.

Had a sore butt by the end of the cebu flights as padding is extra on there seats.
