Hmmm, a $300 Dick Smith purchase I made yesterday has shown up online as:

TANDY KARINGAL HUB 807 ...

The docket clearly indicates Dick Smith. I'll be keeping an eye on that one.:-|

It should be OK. I had a txn from a DSE which showed up as:

TANDY BROOKESIDE 863, MITCHELTON QLD

but happily included

Dick Smith Bonus Points
​

in the details of the membership rewards. I was expecting to have to either wait or follow it up, but it appears that at least some of the old Tandy merchant accounts are correctly posting the bonus points. YMMV.

I did a test of purchasing Wish card at my local D Smith and all bonuses posted

I only want to purchase enough value in Wish card to last me until the end of the year as my Amex Plat has reached its cap for the year :evil: so no more .5 x Plat bonus points.

But getting 5 x points is still better than missing out on .5 x points

Yep, Indooroopilly is the same (ex-Tandy store rebranded as DSE). Posts the bonus fine.

Shopped at DSE Chatswood twice before Xmas and both times the points posted next day.

Good earning from staff xmas presents and now I will go back to get Wishcards for shopping each week, another good earn for $200 a week.

Thanks to all who posted as I had not noticed the promo until this thread.

Bonus Points offer commences 2 November 2010 and ends 30 June 2011.

Wasn't this offer supposed to run till 30 June 2011?

Typical Amex, suspending an offer before it's original advertised date. At least the hole wasn't as big as the transaction fiasco.

Yes but they can withdraw the offer at any time without notice........

I can hazard a guess at why the promo stopped

Interesting that the Amex Travel one is gone as well. Which was 5 points per $1 spent on Hotels/Flights booked with Amex Travel

My transaction on 5 Jan at DSE for wish gift card was still awarded with the extra 5x bonus points. I think the extra award points are still given, just you can no longer register for the offer if you haven't.

I spent $50 at DSE on Saturday,and the bonus points posted fine. I also suspect it is just closed for new registrations

I spent $774 at DSE yesterday and 5031 points have posted. It is still all working from where I'm sitting.
