Am I being too simplistic here but surely a common method across the whole country, which isn't really all that big, would be a logical thing to ask for :?: :confused:

It's getting there ... slowly ...
IIRC, the revenue raised by these "Taxes" goes to the Airport Owners - not the NZ government. So it would need the airport managements to get together on this.

So when is a 'Tax' not a 'Tax' :?:
According to dictionary.com:

–noun
1.
a sum of money demanded by a government for its support or for specific facilities or services, levied upon incomes, property, sales, etc.
2.
a burdensome charge, obligation, duty, or demand.
I suggest the second option applies in this case :p
