Stay the night, leave early the next morning. Not the best city to get to the airport early, but you could do worse :p

It is actually not too bad getting from Hilton to the airport early in the morning. If you know the train schedules then it is a ~10 minute walk to Central and a ~23 minute train trip to airport. Or if you are lazy get Coachtrans to pick you up from Hilton and it is ~40 minutes (max) to airport.

I leave on the 16th, back for a week mid-July, but then gone again for another 3 week holiday, going to be really aching for a catchup after all that.

Lol... Brisbane is an ok place to spend one night, and for a tourist who hasn't been there before a 3 or 4 day itinerary is quite easy to arrange. Personally I'm not looking forward to returning, but it is most likely happening in June sometime...

Can you put me down as a "possible" for June drinks?

Maybe you can suggest a date for June Brisbane drinks that suits you then, I have added my details so we could work something out. :cool:

At this stage we can have June drinks on the 30th and then July drinks when Sam gets back from extended holiday mid-July.

No, a fast track they gave me as part of dumping me down to blue! 2 stays for silver, and 4 stays for gold. Silver is covered off, its getting to gold I am aiming for :)
 
Looks like i will be a certain for the 26th... just waiting for the flights to be booked.
