Vinomofo Wine Deals

Vinomofo seems to have more "sales" than a Persian carpet shop. But somehow the one wine of interest to us, an overpriced 2024 semillon, is never discounted - even though it's been hanging around in the warehouse for a year or longer. Occasionally it falls off the list, but it always comes back.

I picked up a 3-pack of Aramis Vineyards 2005 ‘O’Aristocratis Sparkling Syrah
Ok, you’ve convinced me. While there are lots of Shiraz deals SS deals are few and far between and my stocks are starting to get down. Particularly when I’m looking for a nice SS for Xmas. And of course a recommendation from my favourite wine critic pretty much seals it.

Any of the Barossa shiraz Black Market deals look interesting at the moment or are we looking at more Schild and Hewitson?
Not a lot ATM.

Rosenvale Stockwell Road Shiraz 2022. 3 years maturing in "sesaoned" barrels, so soft without much oak, but quite full bodied. I didn't mind it for $25 (the bumped it up a little so maybe wait for coupon).

Schild Estate Three Springs Shiraz 2023. I haven't tried this new vintage yet (2021 didn't do much for me). 96 points by Wine Companion so perhaps worth rolling the dice.

Sign of the times, "WTF: The biggest Sale in out History!" and not a flicker of interest here.
But they did mention 50,000 fo punters got in to buy something i assume. Seems a damn lot. I think there was a 98 pointer from a vinomaster score dropped to 35 a bot to entice but I held off. I have bought a stack of a 2024 Loire Provence savvy b from liqourland which I absolutely love. 17 to 10 to 9 on 6botts plus flashing a fly buys card drops another ten percent so 8.10 a bottle is a stunner.

How does it still score high Halliday points?
Qood question. Dave Brookes judges all the Barossa wines for them and he's pretty reliable, although he rarely rocks the boat and gives a low score to a high RRP wine. I will proceed with caution on Three Springs 2023, but will try it.
