What is the go with taking duty free liquids from Denpasar (or Indonesia in general) back to Oz?

Can you buy/collect in airport airside and have delivered to the gate?

Are luggage searched in the airbridge upon boarding?

Do some airlines permit is and others not?

I have not been to Indonesia this century so have been researching. Haven't come across anything specific and contemporary..

Anything you buy you are given at the gate after another (second) liquids screening and luggage search. You cannot take a water bottle onto the plane and sometimes even empty ones are seized. It's all flights going to Australia.
