They do advertise a "free on demand" shuttle which I am hoping to use. I was wondering if any here had experience with it, especially after 11pm.I stayed there in 2022. They have a free shuttle bus service (not sure if they'd be operating when you arrive though. Hotel was fine. On site restaurant ok. I had a morning departure so didn't need to check out the surrounding area or hotel facilities.

Price! What’s wrong with the Ibis Budget? No shuttle required, no ALL participation and you have the joys of the BP Buffet 24/7, I may have answered my own question![]()
You forgot the no lifts part. Normally I'd take the top floor "upgrade" as platinum... Until you realise theres no lifts. What’s wrong with the Ibis Budget? No shuttle required, no ALL participation and you have the joys of the BP Buffet 24/7, I may have answered my own question![]()

A little late replying to you, but i found mantra ok. Does its job but won't win any awards on any front. So, shuttle fine; reasonably prompt. Room fine ...
Will retain the "Accor" slice but won't do much with the DeBortali "Lorimer".

Undercover all the way?
No - you can use the T4 car park on the East side of Service Rd. heading either left past the PTV bus stops or to the right through the ride share pick up area.Undercover all the way? ...
Much the same experience. Rooms are nice, though I find the pillows much too think to get a good sleep. Restaurants are also nice, had a few good meals there. Quite a hike too/from T1 though. Two stays at the Novotel. It is a bit of a hike, and not all level. The side facing the carpark gets hot and the aircon doesn't handle it well. The other side is noisier, facing runway.
I've reverted to the Parkroyal.
No. Beginning by T4 and (briefly) at the end getting across the street, uncovered.

Property: Ibis Styles Melbourne Airport
IIRC all rooms in the ibis have walk-in showers, and no bathtubs at all.Can you please confirm if this propert has walk-in showers or SHUBs? Hate that th webiste doesnt clearly show a picture nor mention walk-in shower. Will pay extra for the Novotel if the Ibis has SHUBs.
