Second Test, Australia v England, 4-8 December 2025

The joys of getting home from a full stadium. Lines for the shuttle buses to town were really long - much longer than after an AFL match. Took 2.5 hours and arrived at midnight. Thankfully don’t have to get up early tomorrow

Then it was time to settle up the bill and head out to our seats to watch the cricket. Just before we could leave, Head got out:

Soon after, the players went on lunch so we had the opportunity to have Mel McLaughlin hosting some Olympians:

Then she interviewed Michael Kasprowicz

I had a chat to him afterwards as he’s a good friend of my second guest today. (They played cricket is the Australian U19’s together). He said he’d try and drop by later.
 
Then Wetherald got out, lbw to Archer: for 72 (off 78 balls)

Archer got quite an ovation from the balmy Army.

Smith then walked on and the English supporters gave him a Bronx cheer that went on and on. The Aussie supporters caught on and started cheering for our captain and it was on!

He can perform a complete English Pantomime play if he wants as long as he scores the runs!
Sure. But I enjoy watching players like Trav batting. But you know at 3-4 overs in he will demand change of gloves. Always. Then it's the sight screen. And the sight screen again. Someone dares move in the vicinity. Wears white and it's too bright. A leaf blowing behind the bowler. A fly. You name it.
