LHR T3 lounge crawl Saturday 6 June 2026

I will be heading to BUD on the night, but I am debating where to fly in to LHR from.

Maybe MAN as if there are delays I can jump on a train. What are others' plans?

I may actually be catching a train from Glasgow. A week visiting the folks won't be misery enough, so time in Glasgow Central may just raise my disgust for Scotland back to happy levels.

Either that or get a flight from EDI. That way I can bemoan the Edinbuggers

Mad question.

Do any of us know if having both P1 and CX Diamond allows for checking in extra guests based on multiple OneWorld statuses?

Upside: I could check in 3 guests to CX F.
Downside: I can check in 2 guests to CX F.

Generally such access is not coughulative and indeed, when entry is using oneworld rules, it is one guest.

QF may allow P1 extra guests at Qantas lounges and CX lets Diamond have extra at Cathay lounges but that is carrier specific.

I arrive from Muscat on 3 June and then driving up to Manchester for a couple of days visiting a mate and driving back again on the 6th for the crawl.

You know how bad MAN is, don’t you?

You would be welcome to drive down with me if needs be and even drive up if that suits.

Thanks, but I was just looking to sneak an extra flight or two in. Because I don’t fly enough! 🤣

I might just stay in London.

TLS is a nice option as you can go visit the Airbus factory and do the tour

I'm doing Toulouse, but bypassing the factory. On a train to La Rochelle to begin about 3 weeks in Brittany and Normandy.

@JessicaTam do you want to put a table up n one of the early posts with people's arrival and departure flights/times?

My arrival: Into the UK 3 June MCT-LHR, then June 6, driving down from 'The North'
Departure 6 June*: BA372, 22:45, LHR-TLS

If it was another date, I guess that's a 'travel mistakes' post.

I am arriving from Paris on the Eurostar a few days before so will be in London, visiting BCN & TLS before Paris, as I am QF 2 I anticipate being airside around 6 hours before. Happy to arrange a table in the QF lounge P1 reserved seating area for all.

That would be simply lovely! Thank you.

FINALLY DID IT!!

After weeks of trying to make flights work with the rest of my itinerary, which changed because of cancelled flights, my flights are booked, 2 broken feet, having to move home to be cared for after a horrific accident and thinking that I would just have to give this a miss, didn't stop me. I have finally worked it out, And yes I can walk, albeit slowly, Toss up between Budapest and Toulouse, the latter won,

Love the avois stoppver function, So have Bordeaux to LGW on 3 June and LHR to TLS on 6 June at 19.55,in J

For those in London, will be staying at the Renaissance LHR. Whilst a modest hotel, the club lounge has the most amazing plane spotting, you can almost see the people in the windows of the plane taking off and landing it is that close, Soundproofing great. Often small groups get together in the lounge to do some plane spotting, let me know if anyone is interested in doing this one night before the 6th,

Great news! I empathise with you, I wasn't able to walk for 1.5 weeks a few weeks ago and that was bad enough, it sounds like yours is far longer. Glad to hear it's on the mend.

Avios prices per segment anyway, so no different to booking a 2 hour connections vs a 213 day stopover FYI.
