Qantas Green frequent flyer tier

Does anyone know where to find the quiz in the wellbeing app? I'm doing on behalf of mum as the 50 SCs will get her to platinum. I can't find the quiz for the life of me (Android app).
My GT (and QFF) year ticked over 01 Aug and once again already have the leaf for the Quiz (now the “Learning” category). No actual quiz in app, but it has reappeared in the past and an easy 100 pts…

I’ll probably still offset a SYD-MEL flight at the first opportunity and maybe use PC Hotel and Wine vouchers to help with two more leaves if I can make a Stay work…

Anyone know how long it takes for the RecycleSmart leaf to credit? Put off doing the carbon offset til I realised that it's not available anymore, thankfully managed to do 3 pickups in 2.5 weeks and have been waiting a couple days since.

Mine didn't credit in time (third pickup was 24/7, status reset start of August, still hasn't shown). I'd done the other 4 leafs, so have lodged a ticket and will see what they say... really should have done the offset first. Regardless of whether it credits or not, this will be my last year.

GT secured for another year, but more importantly, 50SC ready to apply to my new membership year when it rolls over on Oct 1st. Between GT, PC+ and 1 or 2 loyalty bonuses I could be set to earn in the next month, looks like I may be starting my new year with a 200-250SC head start! 😊

Mine still hasn't credited, with just under 2 weeks left til reset.

Contacted RecycleSmart, and it seems they send the data to Qantas every Friday.
Thanks for your message.

We can confirm that all relevant information is provided to Qantas every Friday.

The 1–6 week timeframe for achievement updates was established by Qantas, and unfortunately, we are unable to expedite this on our end.

As you completed the achievements your data should already be in their system.

For further details or to confirm when the achievement will be reflected in your account, we recommend contacting Qantas Frequent Flyer directly.

Is there a place to see a list of....in a simple 'list' format of the hotels that fall under the Sustainable Stay category.

Long story short....I'm looking for a single night in SYD on Wednesday, 17th September, prefeably close to the airport, but city works well - if anywhere knows of anywhere.

For a single night, I really don't mind how basic it is, as it is, we'll not be getting back to it until 11pm and heading to the airport by around 6am. So, nothing grand is required.

Normally, I'd just stay Accor someone, and book directly with them - but if I can find a non-expensive Qantas Hotel booking that happens to tick the leaf off, I'll book that instead.

Thanks in advance.

I'm not going to bother chasing this anymore. I'm just going to fly more to cover the 50SC. I'll still buy wine because, well, we like wine, but the rest will end up costing me more than flying. I'm hardly going to stay in a hotel in Brisbane to get a leaf and I'm also not going to fly around the country to get one. We carbon offset in any case. None of the green initiatives work now that we live in an apartment, especially when we have a fixed energy supplier. Oh well.

My partner ordered a bottle of gin to get a green leaf. It was delivered to Perth from Sydney. Available in the shop 50m down the road from her place. Very green 🤣

For those of you considering booking Laneways by Ovolo in Melbourne, don't expect much for $240 per night.

I'm currently staying 1 night in a Downtown Studio room in order to earn my fifth leaf for Green Tier.

The hotel lobby is attached to a gastropub called The Daughter's Arms.
After check-in I was offered a glass of wine and a pack of potato chips.

The room itself is underwhelming, something closer to an Ibis Budget than anything else. The Internet connectivity is with TPG and is awful. Do not expect to do anything productive here, Speedtest reported D/L speed at 8Mbps U/L at 19Mbps (wut?).

I got room 209. There is zero noise from the street, thanks to there being no actual window in the room, only a vertical strip of glass bricks that let in a tiny amount of light from outside. Noise from the lift lobby is minimal but still audible if people are coming and going.

Samsung TV has only free to air channels; screen mirroring doesn't work, neither does the Chromecast on HDMI1. Bluetooth sound mirroring works so you can at least stream some tunes. The single HDMI port occupied by the non-working Chromecast is inaccessible.

The single door wardrobe contains an electronic combination safe, iron, ironing board, hairdryer. A single hanging rail with 4 coat hangers and a small bench space to open your suitcase. Bar fridge, kettle, dinner set for 2 - bowl & plate, knife, fork, spoon. 2 decent sized mugs and teaspoons. 4 glasses and a small carafe.

Large bench along one side of the room under the TV. Plenty of space to lay out all your stuff.

Mattress is king size coil spring, firm but not uncomfortable. 4 large pillows with Crowne Plaza label on the inside (again wut?)

Bathroom contains toilet, shower with rainhead, plus a tiny sink. Water pressure is good, with excellent hot water temperature. The sliding door is mounted via rolling wheels on a steel rail. One of the wheels came off the rail so I had to lift the door back in place.

Bedside table on either side of the bed with a lamp. Plenty of power points easily accessible next to the bed on each side.

Final verdict: acceptable for a single night stay in Melbourne CBD but otherwise forgettable. Would probably be OK at $160 a night.

Could just checkin, mess room a little, eat/ drink "welcome amenity" & with express checkout leave key in room and go home for a better night sleep?

Very possible. In my case I'm in the office tomorrow so actually staying the night makes sense.

It would be nice if Qantas could add another Melbourne CBD hotel to the list of Green Tier eligible properties.

Looking to offset a flight for an exisiting booking. The only option available is to use points and not cash. Anyone else ever had this problem?
