Anyone tried this

Neldner Road 'The Silesian' Barossa Valley Shiraz 2021

Or know if it's another wine, I've been told it's from 60 year old vines, 60% new oak 40% 2nd year.
Unimpressive packaging and little info for a supposedly $150 wine...

Compared to the $50 Barossa/Eden Shiraz 2022 Neldner Road Barossa & Eden Valleys Shiraz

does tobreck ring a bell, does nelder road scream a sell because pedigree could just be a wonderful thing here.
at one hundred and fifty a bottle i reckon you can't go wrong with three slabs of beer.
Sure it sounds nice with all of the american oak
But unlike the returns at vinimofo, this could end up a bad joke.
There were at the end of 2024 some absolute brilliant fo wines in six packs which i procured but punters here are saying nothing much
excites them in the very near past. I just returned the 2022 ben murray shiraz pack, my only '25 purchase and had delivered this arvo the
patritti hose A. Summer is coming and the pedigree with patritti is more than a litter of the nation. Er aliteration.

Re Nelder Road I was at a tasting on Monday and managed to try the Nelder Road 2022 B&E ($60) , 2021 Loechel ($175) , and 2021 Chattertons ($300). The shorts:

B&E: Really nice nose, black/blue fruits and cream. Acid a bit high. Palate was dull, bitter.

Loechel: Single vineyard, Eden valley. Lighter nose, more red fruited. Palate much better than B&E but still a little bitter.

Chattertons: Combination of 4 Barossa vineyard and 2 Eden Valley, all old vines. Good nose, more complex than previous two. The body does not feel as polished as the Loechel but the flavour is better. Again, bitterness and a little hot from the alcohol.

For the prices being offered I wouldnt buy any but at the reduced prices we normally buy and with perhaps a little more age I would give them a try.

Thanks, appreciate these notes.

We’ve packed just 100 Mystery Cases*, each one a curated mix of surprise bottles, premium drops, and the chance to discover new favourites you didn’t know you needed — all for just $99.
What’s inside? We’re keeping that under wraps, although we can say 1 in 10 will feature a Brown Brothers Patricia Chardonnay. But with only 100 available, the real mystery is how long they’ll last...

I've bought a few of their mysteries, they're usually pretty easy to decode.

For the most part only way to get them at a decent price is cellar door or via their mailing list/club.

Most retailers online start at around $200.

I respect My Cellars for building their client base by selling them with a restrained mark up.

True but this year Rockford had a decent volume for a change
