I couldn't resist getting a dozen too, quite an outlier in terms of McLaren Vale iterations of shiraz, persistent whiffs of barnyard funk, a savoury backbone rather than a sweet, fruit-driven profile, I liked it a lot. It was still drinking well after three nights (great restraint I know!) and could easily hibernate for another few years yet in my underground bunker...

I've previously had his Shiraz with 10 years on it and drinking beautifully. Even at RRP, it's value IMHO. It's a winery worthy of a visit. No official cellar door so you can't just turn up. Just reach out to Brad and he'll accommodate with a tour and a tasting.

Langton's mistakenly showed a $600 mixed pack at $350 in the last private sale and delivered a quite different pack. They have now delivered the $600 pack at the $350 price and will collect the incorrect pack.
