It's extremely hard to find F savers out of Australia. They can be found on other routes.

Thanks I was just wondering because before you used to see them always on wait list

edit: out of curiosity I did a search for MEL to London in F, no mention of saver
but i did Singaore to London, and there were a few saver and heaps of Advantage 11-12 months in advance

I did F saver mel to london last year one way, had to be super flexible

Edit: i just had a look from 1st march 26 to 3 june 26
There is no mention of saver on any of them
And about 12 days w advantage for 282k miles one way F thst are available, wow thats poor value......
Does this mean saver are no longer offered?

F savers ex SYD/MEL are very rare these days except on certain routes (SYD-SIN-CGK is the one I've seen most often) or apparently if you hold PPS Solitaire.

To be honest it’s really not much better as a Solitaire nowadays. I occasionally see J Savers that other members cannot see but I’ve had many F waitlists where they’ve been happier for the cabin to go out with several empty seats rather than confirm me…

These are the sorts of things that rarely happened before COVID.

Looks like the best way (the new way?) Is to book each leg/inter flight separately

I've noticed SQ is becoming a little bit more restrictive on the release of Saver seats especially at the usual 355 day mark.

Some users reported SIN - BNE wasn't having any Saver J released during January this year at 355.

I also noticed booking SIN - CPT and return CPT - SIN that no Saver's were released on Saturday (but only Saturday's) in either direction at 355. Every other day of the week perfectly fine. This was across multiple weeks and checking literally 2 seconds after release so not even a case of getting beaten to the punch.

Obviously some revenue management going on with releases right on 355 days.

Heya everyone

Looking at 2x one way tickets for nov25
For the entire month all saver and advantage is waitlisted.
Miraculously there is one savee ticket avail.

Would the best thing for 2 tickets , is to wait list advantage as well?

Only problem is this the 2 tickets will be booked with soon expiring miles..

Is there a way I can check my miles expiry dates beyond the next six months so I can make sure they will still be valid if I cancel a booking I hope to make soon?

Also is there a way to stitch together Star Alliance awards that don't appear by default online from segments that do (eg NH LAX-HND then SQ HND-SIN-MEL)? Or do I have to call?

They will tell you that it’s only possible if the SQ flights are available generally for *A members.
