Price Drop: Cabernet Sauvignon 2006 - Black Market Deal #54783 - Red Wine
Looking for an icon cabernet? Well, we wish we could wax lyrical to you about this family owned winery, but we've promised to keep this one super hush-hush. It is an icon after all, and once it lands at your door you'll get why we're over here freaking out.www.vinomofo.com
For some reason it doesn't remove the shipping cost. I reached out to VM to complain.Clock for $25 off until midday, drops to $20 until 5pm
Even at $25 off I couldn’t find anything worth buying..For some reason it doesn't remove the shipping cost. I reached out to VM to complain.

Grounded Cru Inc McLaren Vale Shiraz 2021, 6-pack at $95 delivered.Even at $25 off I couldn’t find anything worth buying..
For some of us, too much (good) Shiraz is never enough....This promotion felt extra grubby.
At this stage, I imagine that everyone who frequents VM is well/over stocked with Australian shiraz. I think they would do well if they focused on sourcing better deals on other varietals and stopped cluttering the site with so much chaff, rather than trying to flog off more of the same with "FLASH, BIG BANG, BUY NOW, GOING, GOING... GOING... GO... (but not really going, are you still there? We'll offer another 'deal' in a couple of days if you are. Please stay. Pretty please? Pretty please with a 95 point Sam Kim shiraz on top???)"

No knock on shiraz, it's the bulk of my collection. My point is that the one reliable thing about VM—which I think we all know—is that if you're prepared to spend the time trawling through all the average stuff you will find a decent Australian shiraz, and you will generally be able to get it with a discount code before it disappears. And because of that, I don't think this sort of 'buy right now or watch your savings disppear as the hours go by' promotion is really the way to get regular customers interested. For some of us, too much (good) Shiraz is never enough....
Luckily, nobody's forcing you. But if they were, there are enough decent whites and reds there to choose fromEven at $25 off I couldn’t find anything worth buying..
Good shiraz does seem to dominate the better VM red offerings. I thought you'd enough in cellar to 'see you out' & had stopped buying? I speak as someone who repeatedly has said "I've stopped buying". Shame about the Sorby Vicar - I've bought some of his cheaper 2021wines ('only' 24 months in good oak for the Parish series [!], apparently 3 years for the Rev Canon) & so far the St Boniface was the unexpected standout for my taste ( have yet to try the Rev Canon '21).For some of us, too much (good) Shiraz is never enough....
My VM buys June/July so far.

Most but not all bought with a coupon code, I try to wait for the codes, but the timing for some deals don't fit the pattern.
There is apparently a pronounced market decline pertaining to Shiraz, reasons unclear, but hence lots of offers on some good wines amongst the mass of also-rans.Good shiraz does seem to dominate the better VM red offerings.
