QF should look at expanding services to KIX and cough
No planes.QF should look at expanding services to KIX and cough
I arrived on QF80 this morning. It took longer to get bags then to get through either part of Border Force (not sure how much time the express pass saved). The drawback is you have to transit through SYD. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.
We did the NRT-MEL flight last week, and while it was an uncomfortable night's sleep, we were in the domestic QF lounge within 45 minutes of landing (which included a delay for a malfunctioning aerobridge). Border Force staff are much friendlier in MEL than SYD too.
Not sure QF would find cough worth it. They had a 3 weekly SYD-KIX before covid. They haven't restarted it because they sent the aircraft to India instead when international ops restarted after covid lockdowns.QF should look at expanding services to KIX and cough
Not surprising, NRT probably sees crew hotel options near the airport with limited cheap entertainment nearby. Last time I stayed at the NRT Hilton our shuttle bus to the local mall was very popular with the EK crewasked the cabin crew if they had heard anything about the pending HND changes. They said they hadn't heard anything and also like HND more then NRT.
The JAL F lounge opens at 0530 when there is a JL early flight departure,JAL lounges start opening at 6
Normal MEL experience haha.I arrived on QF80 this morning. It took longer to get bags then to get through either part of Border Force (not sure how much time the express pass saved).
Not sure why they needed to dump 4 arriving QF flights worth of bags on the same belt.
I don't think that's anything to judge by. They have cancelled routes within a couple of months of annoucement that was bookable way out into the future and found alternatives. This wouldn't even be that major of a change for the majority of pax as TYO often is the destination.Normal MEL experience haha.
I notice the occasional reward seat available next year now for NRT still so I guess the HND thing is off the cards
I’ve travelled to Japan in their winter every couple of years and am finding it harder to get a reasonably priced business class seat on Qantas. Sadly JAL does not fly direct out of Brisbane. I can’t remember a time when there were so few discounted J seats but so many empty seats in the J seatmap ( I understand the risks of this interpretation). Is QF holding back business seats for a sale or are there changes coming to the route ? Maybe I am overthinking this .I don't think that's anything to judge by. No, Japan prices are still relatively premium despite everything. Also good chance they believe there's still people willing to book closer to the dates.I’ve travelled to Japan in their winter every couple of years and am finding it harder to get a reasonably priced business class seat on Qantas. Thank you. Hope your girls recovered ok.No, Japan prices are still relatively premium despite everything. Also good chance they believe there's still people willing to book closer to the dates.
Earlier this January I came back on a flight with 3 separate teenage girls all 3 with ACL or other skiing related injuries in Business so they may factor in these kinds of last minute changes too.
I don't think they were in the same travelling groupThank you. Hope your girls recovered ok.

Yeh they weren't people I knew but seated next to us in the centre areas. Makes for interesting conversations when girl one basically said she tore it in a skiing accident, then the girl behind said me too and one other nearby was also "yeh me three".I don't think they were in the same travelling group
