Most of the flyers I've talked to who will be WP+ love it so they can't wait to be honest. This status restructure just makes less and less sense.
It's like asking why QF don't merge CL and P1.Very minimal beyond members.
Very minimal WP+ members.
Why not merge them.... Still very few member.
Less WP members.
Less SG members.

it's rewarding flyers like me who book for work requirements with very little notice and pay the premium prices. This status restructure just makes less and less sense.
I totally agree and also unfair for those of us who earned a lot of SCs prior to 2013! They should have given everyone who was a member prior something - maybe 1000 SCs added to the Lifetime total for all long term members.
I hope you enjoy your employer's largesse in your retirement.it's rewarding flyers like me who book for work requirements with very little notice and pay the premium prices.
Last week I had a MEL-SYD-MEL trip which netted me 66 SC's for $792 which would have been only 30 SC's before the change. I managed to get the trip DSC credited too, so it's a nice boost to my VA metal count this year for only 3 hours of flying.
