Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

My guess, based on postings on Franco D'Anna's instagram, is that Blackleather Creek is one of their younger vineyards that isn't quite yet old enough to include in their Estate PN. If you have a look at the posts around mid-2023, you'll see reference to Blackleather Creek.

FWIW, I bought some last year and enjoyed it as a mid week quaffer.
Cheers. Saw the insta post and just realised the estate is hand-picked so that makes sense.
How would you rate it against the 2023 unlabelled? I enjoyed it so was looking to add a few more.

A bit green, but for $10.80 a bottle for a six pack, I still thought that it was great value, particularly given that you can't ordinarily buy drinkable PN at that price.

Usually runs 1100-1300 or thereabouts.
Come back on Monday, there will be a "private sale" on.
Yeah what he said... it'll have some ultra secret password like SecretSale.

And to be clear that Clarendon was a magnum. $75 for a single bott would be not so great. Halliday gave it drink to 2031 back in 2014 and a magnum should give it a decent chance of making it to there still good. But 2011 not rated as amazing a vintage for McLaren Vale...

Everyone loves a good stack. Trying stacking some deals @ Cellar One:

6 Reynella Basket Pressed Shiraz 2019 $76pb down to $30

Plus a free 6pk of Katnook Estate shiraz 2021 (if you spend over $299)
Plus $20 with code "DEMOCRACY20" (if you spend over $199)

Not sure if you can get away with unlabelled, however this is the unlabelled 2023 Hoddles Creek Estate PN (same bottle, branded screw cap and branded case).
I was late to the party on this one but glad i jumped in. Had a glass tonight and a great drop for the price. Thank you for the deal - hopefully more appears down the line as I only grabbed 6 but wish I got 12 now.

Be careful, my friend bought and brought it around to a BBQ very excited. Neither of the bottle were good and also said the third was bad! Not saying they will all be like this but none of her three were drinkable and also no refund
Cracked an Edelkeur tonight, because 🥳😃
Very clean & complex, maybe falling off a bit?
5 minutes later, a lingering aftertaste denies shortness, but a subtle delicious persistence of almost caramelised Botrytised Sauvignon Blanc 😋
Crumbly cork tbh🤷🏻‍♂️, but zero ullage or leakage.
Well worth the punt.😇
