I wasn’t sure if I should tap ‘like’, ‘agree’ or ‘informative’. In the end I went with the laugh.Im going to be Platinum for this!
Im not going to miss a bunch of Aussies on Safari in T3!
Certainly is going ahead. There will only be one lounge that we may not be able to enter. All the others are fair game.Just gauging that this is still going ahead so I can start travel planning. @JessicaTam I will organise for to be on a BA J rewards flight but no longer have QF status so will have access to J lounges only.
This is why @JessicaTam gave us lots of notice!!!I always miss these by a few days / weeks
You have 15 months to plan!I always miss these by a few days / weeks
Thanks @Mattg. Good to know.I did a bit of a lounge crawl yesterday at LHR T3. I was flying out on BA (on a flight departing T3) and my brother (with no status) was on JL. We were able to get into the BA, AA, QF and CX lounges with no problems, although I did see some people getting turned away from the CX lounges with staff citing capacity. Hopefully the lounge crawlers next year will be able to access the CX lounges as they're probably the best ones. But all the lounges were good.
Flying BA and with status, I was able to check in basically whenever I wanted. My brother on JL was only able to drop his bag 3 hours before departure. Something to be aware of when considering which airline/flight to book out of LHR if you're attending next year's lounge crawl.
FWIW check-in for QF2 only opened 4 hours before departure.
Terminal changes are rare.Ok now that we have clicked over to May, time to start thinking about this.
My plan will be a lunchtime FRA to LHR to xx_ BA reward flight in J. I think most people will be leaving on the nighttime flights backs to Asia/Oz but for me this will be the start of my holiday so it will be somewhere in Europe?
My (crystal ball) question is about how "stable" are the BA flights from T3. The worst thing that can happen is that I book a seat to say Budapest and then they change the terminal on me. The BA change fee for award flights is quite hefty and I don't think that a change in terminal would be a valid reason for a free change. Hoping that @JessicaTam or @JapesUK might be able to help here
As a side question as someone who is not terribly familiar with Executive club, what are the rules are schedule changes. With QF, they change by 5 mins and you can cancel or change for free - what is it like on BA?
Really looking forward to this.

With luggage or carry on only as well?FWIW check-in for QF2 only opened 4 hours before departure
