Keep in mind that oneworld airlines may not release seats on some flights or routes to other partner airlines. In any case, most will look after their own FF members first.

However, there may also be other reasons that availability is not showing.

You might need to give qantas a call on this. Highlight the ones that are different, and ask them to explain the discrepancy.

However… before doing so it might be worthwhile cross-referencing with something like ITA matrix. If the taxes on one set of tickets is lower, rather than higher… you might be asked to pay the difference!

There is only one item in the entire list that is different. First row. Right hand side. 1566.30 vs. 1055.10.

Do you know what this line item relates to In greater detail as I believe the XT code is a “combination of taxes” code I.e. more than 1 tax grouped together.

YR (bottom left) is also ~$500 different.

Edit: actually both numbers are exactly $511.20 different. Not sure of the significance here.

Yes you’re right. I missed that one. YR is fuel surcharge I believe.

That’s fine. Can even transit a city twice and stop once.

Qantas computer says no to transit 2 transits AND a stop. I tried before (stol in SYD then transit 2 more times).

Sigh i guess in dealing with a HBA agent that isn't completely familiar with OWA again.

Is there a way to see the total amount of taxes & fees paid on a OWA if changes have been made and a new e-ticket has been issued?

The latest e-ticket will only show the tax difference in the latest changes.

I'm guessing it's a matter of manually looking through all the issued e-tickets.

The computer will not allow 2 transits and 1 stop in the same city.
I had tried to transit twice in Sydney and Stop in Sydney as well. (current Itinerary doesnt do this)

I got pushback from one HBA saying I can't stop at Aus twice which I tried to counter by saying I have a dummy booking open right now with a valid MEL and SYD stop. HUCA and the second HBA agent suggests that right now computer might not like the 5 stopover with 2 surface sectors (but 4 stopovers with 2 surface was ok and ticketed previously).

My last OWA was a 4 stop, 2 surface with 2 transits & one stopover in DOH back when that was a live option.

There are lots of contributors that have a far better knowledge of OWA so hopefully someone will be able to help or provide a reason.

Ok so currently computer is struggling to give me a valid itinerary

Previously already valid and ticketed.

CGK - HKG - TPE (stop 1)
TPE - HKG - PVG (stop 2)
PVG - SYD (Stop 3)
MEL - SYD - DFW - DCA (Stop 4)
BUF - ORD - SEA - LAX - SYD (END)


I attempted to add 2 segments on the end so it's now
CGK - HKG - TPE (stop 1)
TPE - HKG - PVG (stop 2)
PVG - SYD (Stop 3)
MEL - SYD - DFW - DCA (Stop 4)
BUF - ORD - SEA - LAX - SYD -MEL (Stop 5)
MEL - SIN (END)

Stops: TPE, PVG , SYD, DCA, MEL (5)
Transits: HKG (2), SYD (2), DFW, ORD, SEA, LAX
Miles: 34917
Hobart confirmed milage isn't a problem. THey say that it doesn't like the open jaws.
First agent thought it was 2x Aus (which I decided to HUCA). Agents after suggested the system might not like the amount of "Stops"

A check on MEL - CGK instead of MEL - SIN also came up as not correct.

@elanshin I wonder if it’s too many sectors.

On your preferred itinerary I count 16 sectors, but the system needs to add the mileage back to point of origin.

That final “sector” doesn’t need to be ticketed as you’re not actually flying it, but IIRC the QF system incorrectly counts it as a sector.

Right i guess technically if that's counted that's 17.

Edi: Although i did ask the guy to run a price on MEL - CGK instead of MEL - SIN and it still failed.
