Where to post AA "Q" class flights

Don't think AA "Q" class credits to QFF program so where should the flights get credited to? AA Advantage? CX Asia Miles? any other FF program?

You're correct, AA Q class fares don't post to QF accounts very well, zero mileage credit, including the comment:

Status Credits are earned on all eligible booking classes.

As it's not an eligible booking class, zip again on SC's (towards status)

Q fares post to AAccounts at 100% mileage accural according to the AA Chart, so not a bad place to send them to at least get something from the cost paid.

AA all the way, but it can be a pain.

I had a Q class flight, but wanted the benefits of emerald, so I put my QF Wp number as he frequent flyer reference.

After check-in I changed the number to my AA one at the SFO A/C. My no-status AA number was on my BP. I still boarded with Priority Access - it all still came through as a zero credit on QFF.

I did not persue it as it would have been for less then 150 AA miles.

So just to be 100% certain from how I read the T's&C's:

If I have a Q or W class AA flight ( I have AA flights in both these classes coming up) I don't recieve QF FF points?

That sucks a bit Though not the the end of the world I suppose.

If it is not listed in the table, then you earn no points. You can of course credit to AA

I'm not in the US enough to get value out of an AA FF account so I might just have to miss out unfortunately.

Really, are you going to get any use out of *any* FF account you transfer them to? AA is a decent scheme, and points do add up over time.

If you have a mixed itin and want to credit some flights to Qantas, and some to AA, then crediting can be difficult. But it's not impossible - just have to find the right way to get your FF number correctly inserted into the booking.
