Hi all

I am just looking at the emails I got from Jetstar (Itinerary, Tax invoice) but I can’t possibly find the related eTicket/eTicket number. Also, when adding the trip to CheckMyTrip, the eTicket line does not appear (although names match).

Do they use Amadeus for Jetstar? Any advice?

Thanks!

There is no E-ticket For JQ, hence can’t be found. To ensure it’s all in order, just log onto the site and check there is no amount outstanding.

Jetstar do not employ ticket numbers - Navitaire can be 'ticketless'.

The PNR is the be all and end all. You may get an other airlines ticket number associated if you book through that other airline but they are not directly relevant for or generally used by Jetstar.

You can get "Vouchers" with value but they are not 'tickets'.

Ok so this is a bit off topic but might be of interest to some, as it's a bit technical (you have been warned).

By opening your web browsers "Inspect" tool (right click and press inspect) you can get more details about your booking.

First you need to go to the jetstar manage booking page (don't enter your detials yet) but right click anywhere and press inspect, followed by the network button in your browsers inspect tab.

Now enter your booking details and let it load, you'll notice the list on the network tab will grow quite a bit. The one you're looking for is called the "dataLayer" and when clicking on the datalayer and then preview you'll get something like the following:

Now if you drop down the arrows in the preview you'll start to get all sorts of interesting information about your booking:

Things like under the flight SegmentsInfo tab you get the amount paid/taxes paid fare class/booking class

Further down in the transactionProducts you can also see the addons in your booking including the codes used (these are the ones printed on your boarding pass) Jetstar Boarding Pass Acronyms (wiki content) - Australian Frequent Flyer
