Bunnings & Officeworks joining Flybuys

These partnerships will become more interesting if/when they start sending targeted bonus point offers. ;)

Yeah, buy the following for 10,000 FB points.
4 x Fence pailings
2 bags of size 3 nails
1 bag potting mix
6 10W LED light globes

or just 100FB's points per snag out front.
Agree. I think we'll also get offers for some slow moving items that are probably overpriced such as overpriced potting mix, some tree which is expensive or coughpy fake lawn.

Be interested if they do the 4 * x$ per week, I doubt whether they will do it, but can see the bar set high if so. FCL and LL occasionally do it (without a horrible bar) but we'll see. Same with Office works. x points for buying some low moving 32inch monitor.

The snag cooking are an external party, not Bunnings themselves, not saying points can't be earnt, but would be unlikely.
The only way I see how it could happen is if they had a FB reader/scanner outside/downstairs if they decided to do it, just like the way that Ampol allows earning EDR points for buying fuel and other things from them, but then excludes Boost side from points earning.
Yes on this, no on that...
A lot of the EDR points and BP app points earnings, do say charity donations are excluded from points earnings.
Wonder if WW are now kicking themselves they gave up on Masters too soon.

The Bunnings self checkout didn't prompt me to scan my flybuys card at the end of the transaction (unlike Coles IME), so best remember to do that yourself.

I received my e-mail from Bunnings this morning thanking me for using my flybuys card on Thursday.

Same here, and I forgot so sucks to be me.

Did my first Bunnings run today, after the Bunnings & Flybuys tie in start.
Wordings on the Bunnings receipt is already so small in thier font, lucky at least we know where to look to see "Flybuys card" on it!
At least the points appears on day of purchase, which is better than Kmart/Target/Coles SM itself!
Some of my receipts show Coles SM, which I suppose is supermarket, where there used to be a Coles & Bilo and Coles took over from Bilo.
Also auto transfer of points from FB -> VFF also seems to have stopped, am sitting on 2439, usually by the time it hits 1000, it goes to VFF straight away.

Wonder if its going to be like Coles SM, where you can go back to the counter within 7 days of buying, and they will still scan your receipt and add FB points to your account on their system.

I forgot so sucks

Not sure if it will apply...

Not sure if it is worth the effort...

In short, I'm not sure at all...

But when I have been to a Coles and have "forgotten" my flybuys card or have "forgotten to scan" my flybuys card, it has been possible to retrospectively "add" my flybuys card to a purchase.

...

(not sure)

Who is the one that will "dare" to ask that question the next time they are at Bunnings.
We all now have to scan in when we enter a Bunnings with our state's QR covid code trac(k)ing mechanism, and on that phone, if you have space for the Flybuys app, it will have a spot to have FB card bar code on it.
If you don't have a smartphone, or don't want to waste data, then have the Flybuys card in your hand, with your items in the Bunnings mega trolley, with your card to pay at checkout.
I don't think that the faq on the Bunnings website mentions if retro claim for FB points can be processed after purchase.
Some companies won't do it.
No FB points on Bunnings online purchases, either, /as yet for the time being.
So most likely can't do online claim of FB if you forgot your FB card at Bunnings checkout.

But if FB b***ers up your offers then your Coles Store can't help.

First purchase at Bunnings went through FB on the day of purchase, surprised.
But then, today's purchase (also at the same Bunnings store), it has been a few hours, todays purchase hasn't appeared on my FB account.
Same checkout, different staff member.
