Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Whoever is posting deals to OzB, could I suggest you don't or give AFF members a few days before hand?

I'm not sure if it's the original poster, I doubt it because I believe it was Qaz

If you're referring to the Juice Traders post, I think the poster had shared their deals before. Could just be a coincidence. Not sure though.

Yeah, I have seen other deals shared.

I'm not against sharing, however alot of members of this group don't live off their phones.

If a deal doesn't expire for days, give the members here time to buy.

Saw someone comment on that post that DRNKS are doing 20% off reds as well with the code 'GRW'.

Hoddles Creek 1er PN at $48 a bottle with free shipping > $50 is good buying. Next day shipping to Melbourne as well if you get in before 2:00 pm.

I guess the flipside is if you don't support the winemakers in a down year, the argument is they might not be around for the good ones!

I'll admit I haven't picked up the last Oregon vintage myself, but Dredgy seemed to handle the criticism very well on TwF.

He also mentioned to me once he realised the mistake he made, he provided customers who purchased direct a voucher for future purchases. Actually makes me tempted to grab a bottle merely to validate and understand what an 80ish score looks like.

I have received the following email from Bobby Caillard - to get these prices - you need to email Bobby direct ie DO NOT buy via the website.

I bought both 2017 Mataro and Shiraz. I enjoyed Mataro more. Both wines are made in more elegant and subtle style, so do not expect a fruit bomb.

Dear Friend of Caillard Wine

I won’t mention the C word but it’s only 33 sleeps away! Summer is around the corner, restrictions are lifted, and all those thirsty rellies will soon be over to celebrate. It’s time to stock up with the wines you love.

We’re still selling delicious Caillard Wine at exceptional value: $114 for a six-pack of single vintage and variety - delivered to your door. With on-line sales in general expected to be at an all-time high this Christmas (oops, I said it) and courier deliveries taking longer than usual please order as early as possible *(see below for last orders)

We have available:

Caillard Mataro 2016 and 2017

Caillard Shiraz 2017

And... for the first 30 orders of a dozen, or more, I’ll include a hardcopy edition of the latest Penfolds Rewards of Patience, signed by the author Andrew Caillard, who is also the producer of Caillard Wine (and my husband!). (That’ll be one Christmas (oops, it slipped out again) present sorted. Even if it’s for yourself!

And……. to celebrate the festive season we will also release a limited number of six-packs of our museum stock at the same price of $114 if you add it to another 6-pack of the above wines. These ‘Lucky Dip Packs” will include a randomly mixed box of our previous vintages of Mataro and Shiraz from 2009 to 2014 ** - too good to miss.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.
