Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

I wonder if it really is the Signature?

*ducks*
I don't get your point. What do you try to say?

Dan's listing this as member offer at $100/bottle

Unsure on stock - it let me put half a dozen in my cart in QLD and proceed to checkout without complaining. But not something I'm actually proceeding with ordering to be able to confirm it processes.
When I buy 2007, it was $70 around. I haven't open it yet. Now sure how good it is.

Anyone know what this Margies Under Wraps chardy is? $360 down to $160 for a 6-pack. Little info to go on.

Also was on the VM ebay store which had some good % off offers from time to time

And I’ve had plenty of cough wines that JH rated highly! Maybe time to follow a different reviewer ( and no, I don’t mean Sam Kim)!
Had to laugh at this comment in the TWE deal today - so true (and hence to be ignored)!

This case is the stuff of legends, featuring a smorgasbord of incredible premium red wines. There are a few clues on the website, but just for a taste of what you might find there is Northern Italian red blend that was scored 97 points by Luca Maroni (the James Halliday of Italy)...

I think thats the lowest Luca Maroni score I've ever seen....

Had a look at the list, there are not exactly bargain prices but has some hard to get aged wines.

Just opened the 2017 Pertaringa Rifle and Hunt I received in-lieu of the Hazelgrove CS from VC. Terrific drop! I was worried it was going to be too fruit driven which I find with other Pertaringa drops.
Lucky you - I'm still waiting to hear back from my $10.10 attempted purchase

The VC Haselgrove CS Protector is probably a superior wine to the Haselgrove CS that Dan's were doing for $59/6 last week. Anyone tried the cheapie yet. I picked mine up next day but yet to sample.

I think they are just different wines - Protector is CabSav and the one that Dan was doing is a CabSav/Shiraz blend.

I've tried the catkin and protector. Difficult to say how I would feel I've I had paid $40 but for $5 I am very happy. They're both easy to drink now and I'm sure will last a while. Just opened my second bottle of the catkin so can't see them lasting too long. At least until the next $5 deal comes up

Thanks again @DLR … it was a pretty sweet deal. I only got the shiraz .. haven’t tried it yet.
To be honest I wasn’t looking for any critical acclaim or a JH rating that I consider mostly meaningless
