Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Not withstanding @velo 's experience, BWS Warringah Mall, Sydney has a couple of Eileen Hardy Shiraz at half price for anyone who is close to there, with 25% cashback makes it very nice, but it's a bit far away for me.
I picked up a bottle at halfbprice but I found it impossible to order via cashback as the site said not possible to click/collect at that location and not available for delivery

somewhat similar to the bargain that is Naked & Famous' Unbranded jeans, Borgogno have a No Name Langhe Nebbiolo that is actually declassified Barolo (but of course our taxes end up making it less attractive here than the local/Melbourne-made Linnaea Trifulau Barolo)
Maretti have long been a reliable standby for good cheap Italians, but this is their first vintage:

From Cellardoorco, 10 days after I put my order in:

Good afternoon,
I am sorry to let you know the Leonay Watervale Mature Riesling 2013 is now unavailable and we are unable to complete your order.
Due to this, we are happy to offer you an alternative of equal value and am happy to recommend the following: Drumborg Vineyard Riesling 2021.
Alternatively, I can arrange a partial refund of this product from your recent order placed with us.
My apologies for the inconvenience this has caused you.
If you could please contact us to advise how you wish to proceed by Wednesday 23rd of June.

Not sure why he took 10 days to find out that there were no more stock! I ordered some Chardonnay at the same time and it was delivered today.
sorry you missed out - hopefully you received a refund and SORRY voucher?

Just spent like $850 at BWS, however I should get 25% CB.
I'm giving my best mate & brother 9 bottles so it's not all for me. I got this from 1 store, 24 bottles all up.
if you're not a big drinker, having only a bottle a week, then you must have access to some sizable storage?

any platinum's left lucluc?
Only 1 unit & they rang me to tell me it wasn't in stock! 😂
if your order was partially refunded or changed due to that being out of stock, then you might not receive any cashback for it :(

I don't tend to post much about my buying habits unless a dead-set bargain comes along (in which case I'm very happy to share the joy ;)) I finished off a bottle of the Mr Vinecombe 2017 shiraz last night and logged on to see that CM had their 50% off storewide sale on (and yes, it's obvious that they have pulled massive amounts of stock out already) and came across the same wine. Only grabbed a sixer as I have been snapping up various bargains including the Pirramimmas from VM and I've got a half dozen of what I find to be a really decent chunky red for $39.50 collect from BWS. I would strongly advise lovers of ahem, larger built shiraz to snap some up... cheers dears

I cancelled the order, and reordered an hour later 😁

Yeah, at my mother's house she has a 4 room Cellar. The racks in 1 room hold at least 500-1,000.

I am slowing down, unfortunately all the international wine I like is ridiculously expensive. I can't keep this up once I build a new home, definitely will be more budget wise. I just couldn't pass up the BWS prices tho.

Any idea how the Barolo here stacks against the ones on offer from Vinomofo?

Thanks Qaz, picked up two bottles of the Vin de Constance at the cheapest I have ever seen them. One of the most stunningly complex sweet wines I've ever had the pleasure to try.

Just as a reminder - today is the expiry of CellarMasters $30 vouchers.

Given the 50% off sale - the best use (as it was done before) is only to get that Tollana Padthaway Chardonnay using the link I have posted before (unless you are a member of the ABC club)
