Does anyone have any ideas on the identity of this 2020 Margaret River Chardonnay?
The text picked up by the Forum software says Capel Vale, so maybe 2020 Regional Series Margaret Series Chardonnay | Capel Vale Winery although the price doesn't quite match, so probably 2020 Cellar Exclusive Margaret River Chardonnay RRP $32.95.

Another new one that sounds very nice to me! Free shipping too until 10am tomorrow.

It has the same description as the Farmer's Leap 2013 advertised in #36172, so could be the 2014 vintage?

I have had a bit of Trofeo at cellar door & in their restaurant. Was last there a month ago so the wines would have been current vintage (don't have my notes here).

The Pinot at around $20 in that link is worthwhile. It's easy drinking clean wine. There aren't many (any?) really good RRP $20 Pinots so if you can find a reasonable one on discount at that price it's worthwhile IMO.

I had some Trofeo Pinot cellared for a couple of years a while back and it didn't respond to cellaring at all. Went a bit flat if anything. I just presumed that was due to the Amphora as opposed to oak treatment but that's an uneducated guess.
Lovely Estate and nice place to have lunch on a summers day, pity it's not BYO though....

Any ideas on this one please?

Evening all. Finally an email that has peaked my interest from VM.

The Pirramimma ACJ Cabernet Blend 2017 is of interest. Anyone had a crack before? I have a lot of shiraz so a Cab blend would be great to mix it up.

Secondly, trying to id this Chard. Was thinking/hoping Giant Steps as their chardys are at that price point...

The Chardonnay is Hellens Hill. I got some last time, it’s a nice wine, not really my style though, I prefer more mlf action.
