Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

single bottles of Seppelt Drumborg Vineyard 2019 vintage releases ....

I’ve always avoided Seppelts wines because they were known for their vinegar. At least that was their reputation when I lived in South Australia many moons ago. I’m not even sure whether they produce vinegar anymore.

How’s that for a connection? Anyway, it was just one of those things that stick with you. I may try some one day. 😀

What was Seppelts Barossa is now Seppeltsfield and is a wine-themed tourist destination. But they are now making reasonable table wines as well as fortified.
Seppelts is now just Victoria, Great Western/Grampians/Heathcote and Drumborg.

Well, that is good news for me. 😀

Hi all, as a "first post" I feel guilty that it is not travel related, but I, as perhaps much of the world, have seen a retreat from travel to just drinking wine :)

In any case, over the past few days I have sought bargains via this site, so decided to join for that at least.

I have a modest budget, so always looking for discounts. The last case I bought was via "just wines' - the usual discount variety. But with the case I received a coupon "VINE20" which gives $20 off. I assume due to the printed card it is not a member-specific deal, so I put it out here in case anyone could enjoy.

Thanks guys, I only stumbled on this thread recently - so missed out on some stellar deals.

Only saw the kentstreet deal at 11:30 or so, rush through an order, hopefully I haven't overpaid! Only had the Adelina from the below.

Was hoping to find some drops from By Farr or Chatto but nothing available :(

In hindsight I should have just gone off Qaz's post and also grabbed:

don't worry - there will always be more great deals, some previous ones still available
Kent Street did have By Farr, but no Chatto

Finewineco have 2015 Rockbare Tideway Shiraz @ $108/6 (dont know anything about it)

Does anyone know what the JD Cellars secret wine is today? 2018 Barossa shiraz for $69.82 pb.

Feels like maybe a Hobbs wine but could be way off.

At 13% a/v definitely not Hobbs!
Probably Maverick Ahrens Creek, the 2017 scored 98 as mentioned at the start of the email, 1870's vines also a match.
The TN is likely from Sam Kim, but it's not on his site.

In Liquorland it sells Coldstream The Hills series, but it doesn't fond on its website. Are the same as the Coldstream basic series?
