Vinomofo Wine Deals

Yeah fair call, have only really started following them recently. Makes perfect business sense.
The ones that put me off are those where there is obvious collusion with the producer/supplier to bump up the "RRP", often as a "sold out" item on the producer's site.

So how did Vinomofo come up with a price of $65 "from the producer"???
They have some very creative mathematicians.

In reality, "from the producer" doesn't always mean what it says, especially for NZ and other O/s wines not normally available in Australia. In that case the price is their generous calculation of what the local RRP would be in Aus under "usual" import procedures..

Or at's least that's what I got from their rambling reply when I queried this sort of apparent discrepancy last year. But they declined to change the wording.

I have quaffed my way through a few boxes of Paritua and thats enough of one good wine.. some bottle to bottle variation though.

Yes I bought 2 cases Paritua 2015 Red with A$25/b. I found it is a very nice wine. So ordered 6 bottles 2016 yesterday

Same, I enjoyed the 2015 and have gone again on the 16. I found it to be a well balanced Bordeaux blend, lots of dark fruit and subtle oak and for me it was good value at $25.

If anyone is interested I believe that this is the Plan B Tempranillo Viognier

The margaret river 2017 cabernet at $25 down from $65 surely would be a winner for a few here.
Any ideas folks? Good numbers too at 95 and 97.

I like a bit of detective work, some you get, some you don't, swings and roundabouts i guess. i havent bought from the fo for a while to be honest, knocked back a heap since the over indulgence three to five years ago. Thankfully have not had one dud bottle. I did see the Harewood estate cab too and i must go into my tasting notes for this one as at $17, and six to boot, could be tempting. The winery isnt the bells and whistles per se but i remember an honest drop. Some detective work again. Cheers RB. Oh yes, you copped some criticism in here not too long ago but that's life. I didn't agree with them but if we were all the same we'd only be drinking Yabby lake hey !

I remember something called Pyren Studio Ink pyranees shiraz from a vinimofo mixed case years ago that was ethereally sublime. Only ever had 2 and both in my best six plonks of that year. Sounds like your shiraz is good too.
