AA Business Class domestic flights - Lounge access

I saw posted on FlyerTalk that bar attendants at AC's in DFW, JFK, LAX, ORD & MIA have been instructed not to recognise the Electronic ones - 'cause Flagship.

I can’t find he thread you refer to. I have used non ACs in DFW, LAX and ORD in the last six months and all gave premium vouchers via boarding passes. At many of these airports your gate can be 15+ mins from the flaship lounge (especially the LAX Eagles Nest) so it’s not really legit for AA to restrict it. Also, the codes go on your BP automatically and I don’t think the bartender has the right to not scan your BP. Doesnt make sense either - why push you to a lounge where you are unlimited when you’re in a lounge restricted to 2? AA is paying regardless. I know you’re just quoting another forum but I’m not buying it

I have an ongoing subscription to the thread.

Here's from where it is first mentioned - with an ongoing discussion on the situation over the next 40 or so posts:

The thread seems to suggest this is the case for AA members - don’t see any posts confirming this is for ow status holders. It’s always been stricter for AA members so here’s hoping it’s just them. At least they all agree its a nonsense.

Well, it is AA centric and generally for AAdvantage elites to access 'vouchers' they need to be on International travel. Unfortunately, I think it unlikely most Bar staff at A/C's would be able to actively discern between such rules and how they may or may not apply to non AA elites.

It is nonsense - but "USair" ...
