Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

It is expired, but the vouchers on Groupon are still for sale till 3/12

So someone has to give somewhere...Hopefully someone at liquorland just flips the switch and the deals applies as is.

Worst case scenario: groupon refunds cost of voucher ($10) for false advertisement.
Contacted Groupon

Their reply

"Contact liquorland for them to reissue new codes "

I just asked for a refund.
They offered Groupon credit, I said no.
They refunded it on the spot.
Done via live chat.
I was going to wait a few days to see if the code does start working...

Groupon credit will be the last resort and most likely at this stage

exact Same scenario here. A groupon credit that had to be used within 30 days. I said no and refunded straight away.
My guess is legall they have to return to the same payment method if requested.
But if they give it to you in credit, its actual guaranteed profit for them, so they offer that first

For anyone that picked up some Grant Burge The Holy Trinity from Firstchoice the other day this might be of interest. I came across it from an ad that popped up on AFF. Free bottle delivered "to a friend" T&C state it doesnt matter if participating wines were purchased on special. BTW we really enjoyed the 2014 after it opened up a bit. A voucher will be sent that is "valid for the same Grant Burge sub range" so another Holy Trinity or Filsell for free.

I sent them a msg a few days ago but no reply, im not really expecting one,

just hoping the slim chance that the code will allow 50% off anything :)
Groupon list of wines had been updated but code still doesn't work

73 wines

All similar to the half price list

Just reading the T&Cs on this as they're a little unclear, particularly the "max 3 gifts per gift recipient".

If I bought three bottles in one transaction, does my recipient receive three bottles too, or just one free bottle? I could buy one bottle at a time but then I'd need more recipients.

I bought 8 bottles of Holy Trinity in one order and the gift was for only one bottle.

From what I can gather, you can 'send 1 gift' max, but you can be the recipient of 3 gifts max. Im happy to grab a free bottle, I still think the original price firstchoice had it at was an error.

What was the price? I looked back a few pages here but couldn't see it. DM has it for $29.90 for six. Possibilities using a price match with FC means this could be a good promo.

$14.25 a bottle and a further 10% cashback :) Firstchoice have since changed it back to $36

EDIT: Does anyone have any thoughts on the Jim Barry The Cover Drive Cabernet Sauvignon? FC have the magnums as part of the HALFPRICE range so at $25 a magnum, and shopback have 9% still.

Haven't had one for quite a while but my recollection was that it was a decent quaffer. No more or less than that. Reasonable/good value for money at normal retail so half price would be worth a crack.
