There's never been a better time to book with Qantas. For a limited time, you'll be rewarded with 50% more Qantas Points on eligible flights with a QF flight number on your ticket.*

You can enjoy this offer on an unlimited number of flights booked in the next 7 days so it's a great way to help get your points balance soaring.

Simply register and make a new booking between 28 October 2019 and 3 November 2019 for travel from 28 October 2019 to 25 February 2020. And don't forget to include your Frequent Flyer membership number in your booking.

I think the big hint is also in the URL page : ...-closed-members-"

different to previous global offers (and not advertised on the main website either).

So, QFF is getting smarter. Hardly surprising really

(and of course as a P1 I'm not targeted.. I would be shocked if I was tbh)

I'm just salty because I've been eyeing off a few SC runs recently, and currently sitting at 0 for my membership year and want to retain WP. This would be the perfect way to get some runs on the board.

Damn, i had "Exclusive offers" option turned off in my settings.

Need to book a bunch of flights too!

The wording in the T&C's has changed from previous. It now states:

Are Qantas Flight vouchers eligible for this offer?
Flight Vouchers purchased and redeemed for an eligible flight booking made during the promotion will earn double Status Credits.. Flight Vouchers purchased but not redeemed for an eligible flight booking (for flights that are not booked or traveled within the booking or travel period dates), will not earn double Status Credits.

At least in words, the gift that was gift vouchers may no longer work as previously structured.
This is not new wording. Enough said.

1/5 email hit rate, and that was for a 50% offer.

If the economy, dollar and fuel all go cough up, QFF will be trowing the targeted concept in the bin and rolling out DSC for everyone. It's just a matter of time :)

As I mentioned in the general thread on DSC offers, I got both this one and the DSC offer. The DSC offer is good on flights until 22 October 2020 and only on QF-operated flights. The 50% SC offer is much shorter timeframe - flights until 25 February 2020 - but is good on any QF-marketed flight.

So far I've only registered for the DSC offer as I think I'll be able to book an itinerary on QF-operated flights, but I'm curious what would occur if I registered for both and booked both types of flights - would I get DSC for the QF-operated flights and 50% for the codeshares? Or would only one offer apply at a time?

No email here either but I recently booked two trips on the 50% bonus SC targeted offer so can't be too greedy.

Yup. Same sentiment here. Used the 50% SC last week and booked trips to make me QF Plat. Don't wanna spend any more for this year. Next year, perhaps :)

Hopefully, they make another round of offers start of 2020

Yup, hope they do another round of DSC's for 2020. Got some trips in Aug, finalised already. Ready to book

Not sure if turning on Exclusive Offers would make a difference.

I've always thought that the Exclusives are for things you like to do - say, wines or opera or dining/restaurants or member exclusive events or something ... not SC promos .... I could be wrong though ..

From memory - only the recent promo registered will be applied. Say you register for DSC first and then the 50%, you'd get the DSC and vice versa

You can also look at the travel dates mentioned in both promos and see if you can make use of ? Say, the DSC is from now until 25 Feb 2020, book flights until 25/02 and get DSC. For 50%, say, it's from now until OCt 2020, book flights now for travel dates after 25 Feb 2020 and you may get 50% SC ...

Can someone clarify on this understanding?

I have not received the email (yet) from QF. But when I click the link from another post in AFF, the page shows "Registration successful" and this page is similar to the page shown after the 50% SC registration last week.

The dates for the promos released today are opposite of that - DSC until Oct 2020, 50% SC until Feb 2020. The 50% SC is good on all QF marketed flights, the DSC on QF operated and marketed flights. The booking deadline is slightly different as well (DSC by 5 Nov, 50% SC by 3 Nov).

That's the generic page. It shows you that text even if you haven't been targeted for the promo.

If you haven't received an email from Qantas yet, it is highly unlikely that you've been selected for the promo. All emails must be received by the end of today and it is already COB.

Cool. I realized after posting that I got the dates twisted :)

anyhow, I think that the latest promo registered for will apply. However, if one of the promos have a longer window, I'd suggest using the longer promo past the shorter promo date.

This is how I see/think, but happy to know from AFF veterans what they think :)

Maybe there is hope yet, in the 5 years I have been a P1 I am yet to receive any targeted offer be it SC’s, Points, or anything else.
For someone who hit P1 with almost 10 months to spare, they should be paying you to continue to fly with them, let alone double SC! 😜
Just found this thread so now I understand it’s targetted and so glad I’m one of the lucky ones, pity I couldn’t take advantage of the $843 J companion fare unless someone else wants to do a SC run with me? One way via Adl would yield 320 SC with this promo.
