How about SYD-AKL return in one day for $1300 for 160 SCs?
Including four hours to drink champagne in the AKL lounge.

Absolutely.Thanks. That looks like do-able
Absolutely.
I am seriously considering doing it myself, using the 1.5 SC offer I received.
Sadly the sale doesn't start until November so I can't do it next week while I am in Sydney!
I've seen Syd to chc for about $1200 if that helps, a touch cheaper than akl, get the same amount of SCThank you so much @BruceD1beach , appreciate your offer
I will be 175 SC short of QF Platinum.
re : budget - I was thinking aroud A$1000 ? not sure if that's less or more for 175 SC. Never did a status run before, so no clue there

New SC offer today with flights being booked. 50% more but not a lot of use. I am 2 months short of my anniversary and already QP but no chance of anything higher. It's a waste of SCs. Qantas does not carry over SCs.

I have LTG and no chance of LTP. My best option in QP each year. The SCs count towards your Lifetime tally which helps with achieving Lifetime Status.

PlatinumQP = Platinum or Qantas Club?
Wow :O good on ya!Yes, and booking conformed today.

Ditto, I've been 'hinting' as well...got nadda ☹@levelnine : most people doing a search on Qantas.com and logged into their FF profile are indeed getting offers, which is AWESOME But for some reason, I'm not getting "targeted" lol
But as @RichardMEL suggested, I think I will go ahead and make a booking and not wait ... anymore ...
As a matter of interest how many people are LTG and despite all those flying & money spent LTG is no different to G to differentiate someone who just turned G except the obvious. The nice thing about LTG is that I no longer care about SCs. Unless I have enough travel planned to make WP in a year (and I would always know in advance if that were the case) I don't need to earn any SCs at all for that year.
