I see AKL-LHR one way with Qatar has a fare of $548NZD on EF in O class.

But where do you find the fare? Nothing on the QR website, google flights, momondo is only $849.

Is the next trick to start adding on extra sectors or booking from a different origin? Saw this on you tube but it was from Europe where there are lots of different airports and countries to pick from. If I add on another NZ destination it increases the price.

Or does it just come down to checking every website I know like web jet, Expedia etc to find that fare?? Or is it a fare that might get released closer to the time? The flight is looking pretty empty both on the EF seat map and flight availability charts.

How exactly are you searching for this on Expert Flyer?

I suspect the fare quoted on EF may not include taxes.

Have you run a search through ITA Matrix? What price is it giving for an O class fare?

I searched using fare information tab in EF.

Just used itamatrix and it was $897 for O fare. Looks like the taxes are missing.

Thanks for the insight.

Yes EF never includes taxes and fees unless airline incorporates them into the fare. Expedia shows the fare as $540 + $357 in taxes and fees.
