Hi, it doesn't specify when you need to apply for the Credit Card by only that you need to register for the offer by 19th August and spend by 20 September?
Agree. So, by implication you'd need to apply well before September 20, so that your card was processed in time.

Can someone please let me know what happens when you follow the link?

My version:
click link
qantas banner displaying 'Sunrise....10000pts'
scroll dow and click 'Register'
FF login page appears
type in PIN for login
FF Landing page
...crickets

no indication that ive registered for anything?
does anyone's experience differ?

cheers

thanks for this.

i figured it out, I think.

using a Mobile, clicking on 'register' sends you to the mobile version of the login page which then sends you to the mobile landing page.

you then need to go back to qantas.com now that you are logged in and repeat the registration process back on the 'desktop mode' of the website, desite being on your mobile. This is how I signed up to the DSC

Just QF not being 2018 with their IT... shocking

Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Which is the best card to get? I’m not eligible for the Westpac ones as I already hold them. Also, I don’t like to pay for the points (annual fee).

Signed up to this and also the Qantas Premier Card ($0 Annual fee with 40,000 bonus points) - Min spend $2000 a month for 2 months.

Hopefully they are not as painful as St. George in giving points out

Not very painful at all. I just got my first statement for this card and the first lot of 20000 bonus points arrived a day after the statement which came exactly 1 month after I was approved for this card as well.

Unfortunately I missed out on the additional 10000 points from this promotion so will need to look at applying for another card soon once I cancel some other cards so I can qualify. Just hope my credit score hasn’t gone down too much with all these applications.

This is good timing as I'm about to churn another sign-on bonus card so the extra points will taste even better especially with a $0 annual fee :).

Damn, I just applied for a card on Sunday (19th) but didn't see this offer until today. TOO LATE! :-( Offer expired.

So, no fee free offers that I am eligible for. ANZ offer of $200 credit against an annual fee of $425 is not worth it compared to going direct via ANZ which is fee free for the first year for the same (75,000) bonus points. The extra 10,000 points, by going via QFF, are not worth $225, IMO.

You may well still gain the 10K though as the card is still the card listed on the QFF page. Unfortunately I come due for the free card not for another month.

I don`t think you need to apply via QFF- just register for the offer

Was it easy to get approved for the Qantas premier card ?

I had no issues getting approved, just the usual online form to fill in and then uploading pay statements.
Took about 3 days to get approved after doing the application.

I just applied for the Macquarie Platinum Card so am hoping I will get approved so I can qualify for the extra points.
I have had 3 lots of points for different cards since I registered so looks like it has to be a new card to qualify.

While I am of the view that it will have to be points from a credit card that has not posted before, I don't see the connection between the first part of your sentence and the last part given:

Please allow up to eight weeks after the registration period, ending 1 November 2018, for the 10,000 bonus Qantas Points to be credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account with the description 'Credit Card Bonus Points’.

Also as they say:

    • Make an eligible purchase on your new card before 20 September to ensure that the points you’ve earned from your purchase are credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account before 1 November 2018
I would guess that they will not start assessing if the bonus has been earnt till 1 November.

Unfortunately I have not seen anything which would clarify if one can only earn the one 10K bonus, or whether it will be coughulative.

Didn`t Deeks in the previous post state: `I have had 3 lots of points for different cards since I registered`. Doesn`t he mean they were 3 separate new cards?

I forgot about the 8 weeks wait to get the bonus points so I might still get them but don’t wanna take any chances which is why I applied for a new card.

Yeah it was for 3 different cards and this was the first points that I received for them.
