Qantas Club Renewal Fail Rant

Knew I should have checked with MrMac before I blurted it out. $1,500 and it was 15 years ago - unfortunately as we hardly travel these days it's probably outlived its usefulness but we sure enjoyed it while we were in travel mode

That's still a bargain really

You would definitely have got your money's worth then! Especially as you would have had access to all BA's lounges when travelling overseas. It is much more marginal now, although the kids still find it useful.

Re: Qantas Club Renewal Fail Rant ðŸ

When I was studying in Ireland in 1996 my father had the foresight to purchase me a partner lifetime QC membership. From memory his was around $2K and the partner one half that amount. Certainly got our monies worth with all the travel to and from Europe and then around Oz on my return for close to 20 years prior to achieving LTG. Such a shame they don't offer it anymore.

My daughters QC membership is due on 31 May, when clicking on the renewal link the error message " you are not a Qantas Club member " appears. Any ideas?

Did she join as part of a corporate membership through her employer? You may need to call QF on this one and if so I'd get it resolved as soon as you can.

No, not Corporate. I tried to put her in as a new membership just to see what would happen, and I got an error message to say she is already a member LOL I shall give them a call, the site is certainly buggy at the moment.
