No I do get it. All I was pointing out was that if you are using a social platform and in this case FB then the closed/private group and its members can still be at risk to any individual within that group. Which means if you post private information on FB even in a closed group you are exposing yourself for it to go to the public forum which has obviously happend as you have stated.You have missed the point. It's not about FB and its "privacy".
He was a member of a 'closed' facebook group and being a member had unfettered access to content posted within the group. He splashed another members private details in the public domain.
