Hopefully a quick question a AFF member can help me with - i did a search and couldn’t find the answer. I have a super sale fare with QF that has paid seat selection (which i don't want to pay if i don't have to ;) especially since this can be changed by the airline). There are three of us in the same booking. I don't care where we sit so long as it's in the same row (a330 has 2-4-2 config).

Is it likely that we'll be split up if we don't do paid seat selection?

It’s unlikely you’ll be split up. However in that aircraft config, it’s possible one of you may be sitting across the aisle.

You will likely be fine as already indicated.

I would suggest doing OLCI at the first opportunity however.

Also: there's not always a real alignment across the aisle on the A330s ... noticed this around row 26 where I've double-checked my seat since the one across the aisle had a different row number.

Regards,

BD

Yes will definately do OLCI first thing it opens. Also thanks for the heads up on row alignment - I'll check it out thanks!
