There are several sheets you might see floating about in the galley.
First is the main passenger manifest. This in fact you probably won't see. It is a list of every seat, every passenger, every connection, every empty seat, every special meal, every frequent flyer, and any other operational information like VIP/CIP/OP-UPS. Plus a whole lot of other stuff including catering figures etc.
Then there is the list most commonly found in the galley which is a basic passenger list with you name, frequent flyer status with either your QF status or if your not a QF frequent flyer your status with oneworld. It also notes special meals and CIP/VIP/OP-UPS. If you upgraded using points - it is not noted anywhere.
On flights with First Class where there are First Class hosts (SYD/MEL/LAX/SIN/LHR) there is a sheet that tells us name, your itinerary from start to finish of your journey that day, who your traveling with, who you might work for, why you might be traveling etc. It also notes any important passengers in business and economy and chairmans lounge members.
Finally, there is a sheet that is given to CSM's to identify individual passengers that may require special attention. Usually where there is some serious damage control, but not always. This sheet doesn't make an appearance very much.
