Auckland F lounge choice?

I had the Dom Perignon P2 on an OSL-DXB at the end of August. It is a cracker.

Yes it is a fabulous bubbly. Interesting EK don't serve it on DXB-OZ legs. Maybe Qantas have vetoed it, like EK and bacon.

Hi everybody, flying EK F SYD - AKL in a fortnight, returning a week later. Can anybody tell me the earliest that we can check in/baggage drop at AKL?

QF F lounge is by far and away the quietest and most peaceful. EK lounge v. busy, as othes have said.

a bit off topic for this thread, but anyway EK check-in opens approx 4 hours before the first departure ex-AKL. in the NZ summer months you're looking at between 1400-1430. At least that's what it used to be

I asked today and was unequivocally told 1pm.

Currently (daylight saving) Emirates first first flight is 4:40pm, second at 6:10pm, third at 6:50pm and the nonstop flight to DXB at 9:15pm.

I'll see how it goes ...

EK Check-in opened 1pm on the dot.

Lounge now open 1pm through 8:30pm (although last night after 10pm as the late direct flight was two hours late arriving).
