Hi there, just booked a fabulously cheap BNE via SYD to DPS for March on QF (around $400 return!). Does anyone know if there is any lounge arrangement for WP pax on QF operated services in DPS? Thanks!

Its probably the same lounge that Jet* passengers use which is upstairs and guarded at the door. We didn't get in as even though WP we had booked the wrong J* fare and status didn't count.
Just look up and left as you move through from immigration and past the stores and you will see the doors to the couple of clubs there.

There are 3 lounges in total in DPS I think - all are pox. I have no exp flying QF but I assume WP should get access to one - PP definitely gets you in if that helps. Lounges are seriously basic - alcohol offerings just so ordinary and food looked no better. Being up on second level the temperature 'upstairs' can get terribly hot - but it is what it is - just don't expect QF SYD/MEL F quality.

While being barred from entry I have heard this from others. Luckily our flight was at 8.30am so no loss.

had a look in the PP lounge at DPS recently and decided it wasn't worth the bother or using up some of the yearly access credits.

just went and bought some beer from the convenience store and drank it in the terminal in the end! (when in DPS...)

Depends on your flight time, Novotel at the airport is an option for a swim, shower
and a few refreshments from the airport Circle K. Food was alright also.
We used it back in August, booked during an Accor sale. They do offer
short stay rates, not sure what they are.

Thanks for the replies, everyone. Good to hear there's likely to be something. Just somewhere to have a few beers before the flight!

If for some reason QF WP doesn't get you in, you can buy access to the TG lounge in DPS for around $35.
