They only give them out for overnight flights.

Asked for PJs on a day flight to HKG recently (I could even see where they were stored) but they said they don't hand them out on day flights.

Looking forward to getting a new pair.
Really? That's unfortunate! I'm on the day flight from SYD-HKG a was hoping for a pair. I'm only in PE but was hoping that the WP status might help with my grovelling. If they're not giving them to J pax then I've got no hope. :(

Actually - didn't receive PJ's last year on day flight Syd-Hkg. WP in J.
I suppose it's understandable but with HKG's humidity the way it usually is, I'd rather arrive with fresh clothes rather than ones already worn for 13hrs of airport and airplane.

It's only humid when you arrive. And you can take your own or bring along shorts and fresh shirt to change into. No one used PJ's or even really slept on the flight as in full on sprawl out.
We miss out on the day flight to Singapore in December which will be very hot but it's summer here too so just a change of top needed. The flight home is overnight so will be getting them then.

Hong Kong was cold when we were there in July. And wet.
