Terrific stuff - thanks for posting the links.

Damn! Just realised this is only for bookings paid at the hotel, not prepaid bookings. Pity I made a non-refundable booking. Any suggestions/experience as to whether people have argued otherwise?

It looks like I have received the $150. Don't recognize the name on my statement but $150 credit has been applied to my card. Yay.

Great news as I booked non-refundable via Hilton website and through speaking to an operator. That was maybe 5-6 days ago and it has not even hit the credit card as yet, so don't know if will get statement credit but based on Lisa10 experience it sounds promising.

Maybe check the offers section on your account online and see if the offer says it has been redeemed with card. Mine said that before the money was credited.

The things we do! I have another Hilton Cairns this week (ka-ching). The Pullman (Int) is a substantially better property IMHO.

My wife checked out of Hilton Adelaide yesterday and paid with another card. I called them up and they agreed to reverse the charge and charge it to 3 separate registered Amex cards. Shows 'Hilton Adelaide' as the merchant.
3rd charge was for $258 then called HHonours and they allowed me to refund prepaid rate for upcoming stay in Brisbane to original CC and re-charge to registered Amex. Assuming I might not get credit on the third charge as not $300 in one go but over 2 charges on the same day.
I haven't received any trigger emails yet. Has anyone else not received trigger emails but got the credit?

We both thought she'd prepaid then she mentioned she paid the bill on checkout which is when I thought let's give this a go.

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has success getting the credit refund from only dining at a restaurant in the Hilton?

Really want to do it at Adelphi in Perth.

I was under the impression that most of the restaurants are third party operators with agreements to provide Hilton meals and if so, I'd be thinking the only time it would be charged by Hilton is if you have it booked to a room folio.

booked a room with the double points rate at $302 for HSW. $152 for the room and double points, very happy.

Book our family holiday 2 bedrooms residence for christmas in Gold Coast for 3 nights Hilton already charge the cards , have received the email from Amex , not sure if i can call up and ask them to split over 9-10 cards for $3000 payment

Statement credit received for what was a pre-paid non-refundable booking made via Hilton site.
Booked another night separately via calling the hotel direct as had special request and they had no issue splitting a $700 amount onto 2 cards. These were two different cards to the card listed on their system, referred to re the above credit.
9-10 cards may push the friendship for what has already been charged. Will be interested in the result.

Received 2x $150 credits today. Took about a week to credit from when the charges hit the account. Great result.

Has anyone received $150 credit based on $300+ spend on multiple stays? Yeah I know, it's rare that a stay is less than $300 at Hiltons in Oz but it does happen!

I'll know shortly ... and most of my stays are less than $150 in Oz! ;)

I received my credits over the weekend for a stay late last week. Split it across a number of cards and got them for each card that qualified ($300+ spend).

Not Hilton but Accor (Sofitel) - received my $100 back for a pre-booked rate made before I signed up for the cashback offer. Surprised but very pleased.

Thanks again for the heads-up.

Did they only recently deduct the booking payment from your credit card? I've noticed that sometimes a pre-paid booking will be paid some time after the reservation is made instead of immediately. Had this problem with a Hilton $50 off a $150 booking offer a few months ago where the deal was till early Sep, I made the booking in July for a late Sep stay but by end of August they still have processed the payment. Had to contact Hilton to make the payment otherwise I probably wouldn't have got the $50 back.
